Privacy Policy
This policy explains how personal data is processed when you visit the Zitena website and submit the demo request form. The data controller is Erusoft (Eray Usta), Esentepe Mah., Büyükdere Cad. No:171, Metrocity İş Merkezi A Blok Kat:16, 34394 Şişli/İstanbul, Turkey. Contact: [email protected].
In short
- This site uses no tracking cookies, advertising pixels or analytics scripts.
- We only receive personal data when you submit the demo form or email us.
- We use it to contact you about your request, and we never sell it. We only send product news if you tick the optional box in the form.
What we collect
In the demo form: full name, company, work email, phone, (optionally) website and message, e-commerce platform, approximate monthly call volume, the required confirmation that you read the privacy notice and its version, and your optional product-news choice (yes/no). Along with the form we receive the time it took to fill in, the UTM parameters of the campaign link you arrived from and the referring domain. Like any web request, the receiving server technically processes your IP address and browser details.
Why
To respond to your request, schedule the demo, prepare a setup plan and quote for your store, and prevent abuse of the form.
Legal basis
Under Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), Article 5: steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 5/2-c), our legitimate interest in preventing abuse and understanding which channels requests come from (Art. 5/2-f), compliance with legal obligations (Art. 5/2-ç), and, only for optional product news, your explicit consent (Art. 5/1). Where the GDPR applies to you, the equivalent bases are Art. 6(1)(b), (f), (c) and (a).
The two checkboxes in the form
- "I have read the privacy notice" (required): confirms that you have read this notice. It is not a consent statement: your demo request is processed on the pre-contract and legitimate-interest bases above. The form can't be sent without it, and the version of the notice you read is stored with your request (current version: 2026-10).
- "You may contact me about product news" (optional): a separate consent that is unchecked by default. Your demo request is handled the same way whether or not you tick it. If you do, we may send you product news and campaigns; for commercial electronic messages in Turkey the İleti Yönetim Sistemi (İYS) rules apply where required. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to [email protected] or using the opt-out in any message.
Who we share it with
Only the providers we need to run the service: requests are stored on our servers in a data centre in Turkey; website and form traffic passes through Cloudflare’s network (USA) and email runs on Google Workspace (USA). These transfers outside Turkey follow Article 9 of the KVKK. Disclosures required by law remain reserved.
How long
A request with no activity for 24 months is deleted automatically; the keyed hash of your IP address is deleted after 30 days. If a contract is signed, the periods required by law apply.
Data inside the product
This policy only covers the marketing website. Customer data of stores using Zitena (for example caller numbers and call transcripts) is processed under the contract and data processing terms agreed with each store, where Erusoft acts as data processor.
Your rights (KVKK Art. 11 and GDPR)
You may ask whether your data is processed and request information about it, learn the purpose and whether it is used accordingly, know the third parties it is transferred to, request correction, deletion or destruction, object to a decision made solely by automated means that affects you negatively, and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing. Where the GDPR applies you may also request restriction or portability and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Write to [email protected]; we reply free of charge within thirty days at the latest.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to the same address; this does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
Cookies and local storage are described in the Cookie Policy.
